Lockleys (located at 34°54'S 138°34'E, postcode 5032, altitude 31m) is a suburb the city of Adelaide, South Australia.
The area was subdivided for housing after being an area renowned for its market gardens and greenhouses. The Hank family held substantial holdings. The Hank brothers were footballers for West Torrens Football Club with Bob Hank winning a Magarey Medal in both 1946 and 1947.
The suburb is the home of the EDS request management and EDS credit services in the former John Martins bulk store on Pierson St. Prior to EDS's conversion of the warehouse this was used as a storage location for the floats used in the John Martin's chistmas parade.
The suburb has two state primary schools. Lockleys Primary School and Lockleys North Primary School. The nearest state high school is Underdale High School which has David Hookes as one of its past students.
The area was subject to flooding by the River Torrens until the Torrens channel was cut in to replace the wetlands. A large part of Lockleys is within a bend of the River Torrens.
Lockleys is home to the Lockleys Football Club who play in the SA Amateur Football League.
Mellor Park on Henley Beach Rd has a tall tree which is decorated each year as a Christmas Tree.
The local guide group is Lockleys Guides, and the local scout group was 1st Lockleys Scout Troop until it closed in March 2001.
Kooyonga Golf Course is located in Lockleys and has previously hosted the South Australian Open Golf Championships.
Lockleys is the home of the former Odeon Star, now Windsor, Lockleys Cinema, Henley Beach Rd.
